Harold Park & Park Dam

Saturday 9th November a.m.
A frosty start with a temperature of 3°C at Harold Park where it was calm with some brightness amongst the cloud. There were ten Goosanders on the Lake , good to see the males back with the females, some were in the moulting process getting their adult/winter plumage. There was just one juvenile Great Crested Grebe, and a first for me here was a Muscovy Duck. There were also three Mute Swans on the top pond higher in the park as well as the usual Moorhen, Coots and Tufteds.
Down the road at Park Dam there were 25 Tufteds, four Little Grebe, one GC Grebe and two Cormorants.
