Sunday 24th November a.m.
Another dull foggy morning but at least it wasn't raining and feeling mild with a temperature of 8°C.
I started off at the lake in Lister Park which had two adult
Mute Swans with two Juveniles along with
38 Tufteds, c50 Canadas and
c50 BH Gulls. A walk around the Park added a couple of
Jays and three
LT Tits before heading back to the lake where a
Goosander had appeared. The Goosander had found something when it dived and was surrounded by Gulls which it fought off with a Juvenile
Herring Gull being seen off. There were several Herring Gulls now and three
Common Gulls, there were also around 15
Redwings after berries in the trees on one of the islands.
