Doe Park Reservoir

Wednesday 7th April a.m.

A cold and sunny start this morning with a temperature of -4°C, I headed off past Hewenden Reservoir and on to Doe park Reservoir which is a decent walk from Cullingworth.  Here I saw a couple of Grey Wagtails and also two Pied Wagtails with a couple of LBB Gulls on the jetty.  As I walked alongside the Reservoir I saw a Gt Crested Grebe on the water with the Mallards and Canadas.  At the other side of the Reservoir a couple of Chiffchaffs were seen and heard, others included Bullfinch, Song Thrush, Jay, Meadow Pipit, Curlew and Pheasant.
