Saturday 3rd April a.m.
A chilly cloudy morning up at Redcar Tarn with a temperature of 5°C where it was good to see the pair of Gadwalls were still present. They had been joined by a male Shoveler which showed some interest in the female Tufteds, there was a good count of 35 male & female Tufteds. A pair of Oystercatchers were on the island and a couple of Pied Wagtails also turned up with a Dunnock singing and a Curlew in a nearby field there was plenty to see. Other included Canadas, Greylags, Jackdaws, Rooks and Gulls.
