Thursday 3rd April a.m.
Another sunny day with a temperature of 9°C as I parked up at Dowley Gap for a walk alongside the canal and River Aire. The water works were quiet apart from a pair of Oystercatchers but nearby a singing Wren was seen. As I crossed the aqueduct a Blackcap was singing which I soon spotted and a Chiffchaff also joined in. A Goosander was in the River with a couple of Mallards, others were Nuthach, Canadas & Greylags.
