Sunday 4th May a.m.
A cloudy morning just 7°C at Yeadon Tarn where it was good to get my first Swifts of the year with eight flying around. Over the water there were Swallows and Sand Martins, and walking around there was Blackcap, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff. A pair of Canadas had a young gosling and Mallards had chicks, others were Mute Swan, Cormorant, Tufteds, Moorhen & Coots.
On my way home I stopped off and had a stroll on Bingley Moor seeing Red Kite, Skylark, Curlew, Meadow Pipit, Stonechat & a Hare.
