Thursday 29th October p.m.
Some sunny spells this afternoon with a temperature of 15°C as I walked alongside the Reservoir there were c1, 500 Gulls. The bulk of these were BH Gulls, LBB Gulls and Herring Gulls with a few Common Gulls. In the corner of the Reservoir there were two adult Whooper Swans with five juveniles. As I got nearer to them they flew off in the direction of Ogden/ Mixenden Reservoirs. Others were Lapwing, Fieldfare, Mallard, Starling & Chaffinch.
