Leeshaw

Saturday 21st September a.m.
Another cloudy morning with a temperature of 10°C & feeling cold with a the wind blowing.
We saw a Little Owl in its usual spot, a Kestrel flew from the banking & over the dam wall.
There were plenty Mipits & Goldfinch around but no geese, a Cormorant was on the tower
another flew over later on. The water was very quiet with just a few Mallard & BH Gull, a
Grey Heron appeared & a distant Kestel could be seen.
A fellow birder joined us on the track at the side of the reservoir, saying he had seen some
Goosanders up at Redcar Tarn so we decided to go have a look there.
