Saturday 14th February a.m.
A foggy start to the morning reduced our birding options, we decided on Dowley gap in Bingley, where on our arrival visibllity was descent but the sky was still grey, the temperature was 5°C.On the canal there were
Mallards & four
Canadas were in a nearby field, a pair of
Jays were in their usual area & there were
BH Gulls overhead. The birds of the morning were
Song Thrushes which were belting out their tuneful song which was great to hear.At the water works there were c100
Pied Wagtails plus five
Greys, other notables were
Grey Heron,Nuthatch & GSW.
