A much brighter day feeling warmer with no wind but still only 3°C at Redcar Tarn with 95% of the water frozen over. There were high numbers of Gulls which kept moving around as did a flock of Lapwings. The usual birds were present with the addition of a distant Kestrel feeling very pleasant in the Winter sunshine as we walked round the Tarn.
