Saturday 5th September a.m.
A pleasant start to the morning with some sunshine & a temperature of 8°C as we wondered round Harden Moor.We saw a
Kestrel hunting & a distant
GSW there was a charm of
Goldfinch on the Thistle Seeds, with nine
Mistle Thrush on a distant wall.
Willow Warblers were still around although they kept moving,
Swallows also feeding above & a good selection of common species were seen. The highlight of the morning was first hearing & then seeing a couple of female
Redstarts.
