Sunday 18th June a.m.
A bright sunny start to the day with a temperature of 16°C on Harden Moor, my first birds of the morning being
Oystercatcher,Mipit and
Robin.The
Sand Martins were in their usual spot with
House Martins, Swallows and
Swift also present during the morning. There were a number of
Willow Warblers singing with a couple of
Garden Warblers also joining in but a
Song Thrush seemed to drown them all out.
Whitethroat was seen as was a
Redpoll, also a few Butterflies around and some flowers adding to the mix in the form of a Purple Orchids.
Nigel.

Thanks John, Harden Moor has been a good spot for Garden Warbler for a couple of years.
