Leeming Reservoir

Saturday 24th February a.m.
It was still bitterly cold when I arrived at Leeming Reservoir with a temperature of 0°C, the usual muddy footpath was frozen over.I started well with a Kestrel on the wall of the overflow and a Grey Wagtail feeding in this area.On the water were four Greylags, a Coot and several BH and Common Gulls.Walking round I added Blue,Great and LT Tits,Greenfinch,Jackdaw and Grey Heron. As I walked back along the road to the car there was A Herring Gull on the tower as well as more Common and BH Gulls.
