Friday 26th October p.m.
A sunny afternoon with a temperature of 7°C up at Redcar Tarn where there was a good selection of birds with winter flocks increasing. There were c150
Lapwings moving around the surrounding fields with several at the edge of the Tarn, the sun was on them making for good pictures. There were also c100
Canadas and 25
Greylags in a nearby field with the main birds on the water being c100
BH Gulls with a sprinkling of
Common,Herring and
LBB Gulls.A
Grey Heron was on the island and only three
