By the time I reached Leeming Reservoir the temperature had risen a notch to 16°C with the sun turning more hazy.Great to see a couple of
LRPs here and I was able to get close enough for a few pictures, also here a
Common Sandpiper.There was a family of four
Grey Wagtails, at least six
Willow Warblers singing and others seen during my walk were
House Martin, Swift, Swallow, Goldfinch, Oystercatcher, Curlew, Pied Wagtail and
Kestrel.

Little Ringed Plover always seems to my eyes to be one of the most delightful of shorebirds and I always look forward to encountering it when I visit areas where it occurs.
