Sunday 1st September a.m.
Another cloudy morning with a temperature of 11°C at Leeming Reservoir where I started well with a
Wheatear on the Dam Wall. Also nearby a juvenile
Common Sandpiper, Grey Wagtail and
Pied Wagtail with a
Grey Heron on the banking under the wall. On the water there were a good number of
LBB Gulls with a couple of
Herring Gulls, a
Cormorant and
Tufteds.Walking round others seen were
Willow Warbler,Goldfinch, Robin and
Swallows overhead.
