Sunday 8th September a.m.
A bright sunny morning up at Redcar Tarn with a temperature of 8°C and plenty birds to see. These were mainly made up of
Canadas, Mallards, Coots, BH Gulls and
LBB Gulls. Others included ten
Pied Wagtails, c50
House Martins, Swallows, Tufteds, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, a single
Common Gull,
Grey Heron, Lapwings, Jackdaws and
Rooks. The highlight for me though was the return of four
Goosanders which are always good to see at the Tarn.
