Sunday 30th August a.m.
After my quick visit to Harden Moor with the sun still out I decided to go over to Denholme Clough where the temperature was 10°C. Walking through the Clough a Kestrel was in a tree and not too far away was a Green Woodpecker, Swallows were flying around and Mipits were on a distant fence. I soon got to my destination finding the two Redstarts enjoying the sunshine and giving plenty chances for pictures. Also in this area a couple of Chiffchaffs, Blackcap and Willow Warbler. Walking back I added a couple of Whitethroats to a good walk and some good birding.
