Saturday 26th September a.m.
A chilly morning with a temperature of 4°C which gradually warmed up when the sun came out as I walked through Denholme Clough. There were mixed flocks of birds passing through the Clough which included Blue Tit, Gt Tit, LT Tit, Reed Bunting and Willow Warbler. Also a couple of Jays were around as was a Green Woodpecker, also added were Blackcap, Goldfinch, Robin, Swallow and a couple of Deer made a fleeting appearance. When I reached Doe Park Reservoir the water just held a couple of distant Gulls, walking back it was more of the same plus a Kestrel.
