Sunday 22nd November a.m.
A cloudy morning with a temperature of 6°C as I walked passed the locks on the canal at Dowley Gap where there were several Redwings feeding on the berries. The water works had c25 BH Gulls and c20 Pied Wagtails, I saw just one Grey Wagtail. As I went through Hirst Wood I saw a GSW, much easier now all the leaves have fallen off the trees, a Jay also posed well for the camera. Walking back a Goosander was on the river and a Dunnock was singing and a Robin was looking for food.
