Saturday 28th November a.m.
A dull cloudy morning but started dry so I set off to Hewenden Reservoir with a temperature of 2°C. From Hewenden Viaduct I could see c100 BH Gulls with several big Gulls at least one of them a Herring, there were two Cormorants on the dam wall and two Goosanders in the water. Walking through the wood I saw Treecreeper, Nuthatch and Coal Tit on my way to my usual viewing point. From here it was good to see four returning Goldeneye, four Wigeon, four Teal and four Tufteds. Others seen were Canadas, Mallards and Moorhen.
