Saturday 21st November a.m.
When the sun made a rare appearance this morning I put my hat & coat on quickly and headed for the St Ives Estate near Bingley where the temperature was 10°C. I went straight to the Coppice Pond where the two adult Mute Swans had six juveniles with them, there were also eight Goosanders. There were around 150 BH Gulls but I only saw three Commons with them, others were Mallards, Moorhen & Coot. At the hide viewing are I saw four Coal Tits, two Blue Tits and a Robin. It had soon clouded over and as the drizzle fell I went back to the car and home.
