Hewenden Reservoir

 Sunday 15th November p.m.

Another wet weekend until lunchtime when the sun finally came out and I was able to take a walk round Hewenden Reservoir in the blustery wind with a temperature of 8°C.  There were c150 BH Gulls on the Reservoir with a few Commons and Herrings mixed in with them, and four Cormorants on their usual perch.  At the top end of the Reservoir there were Mallards, Teal and Tufteds, there were plenty berries on the Hawthorns which Blackbirds and three Fieldfare were enjoying.
