Yeadon Tarn

Sunday September 16th a.m.
It was a cloudy start to the day with a temperature of 12°C, but during our visit to Yeadon
Tarn the sun did break through. When we got to the edge of the Tarn we quickly spotted a
Grey Heron at the airport end and so went to see if we could get a couple of snaps, we've not
seen a Heron at this location before.Walking round we spotted a couple of Great Crested Grebe
one of which had caught a fish, the BH Gulls were in good numbers and the Mute Swans were
still present. We also saw a Kestrel fly over which was mobbed by a small flock of Starlings,
there were also several Moorhens with Juvs.

  1. Thanks Brian,I would like to take all the credit for that snap, but Lady Luck
and a hungry Grebe played the main parts in the snap.
