Saturday 12th January a.m.
A cloudy morning with some drizzle but feeling mild at 8°C as I walked alongside the canal at Dowley Gap soon catching up with my first
Kingfisher of the year.At the water works there were c50
BH Gulls and c60
Pied Wagtails but just 3
Grey Wagtails,but I did see another in the River Aire. Also in Hirst Wood I saw
Nuthatch,Treecreeper and
Goldcrest ,along the river were a couple of
Goosanders.
