Park Dam

Saturday 5th January a.m.
A dull overcast morning with a temperature of 5°C and feeling cold, I paid a quick visit to Harold Park seeing a G.C.Grebe before moving on to Park Dam.Here there were two G.C.Grebes and three Little Grebes and two Cormorants. It was lively here with c50 Canadas,Mallards,Coots,Moorhen, Mute Swans and Tufted Ducks giving photo opportunities although unfavourable conditions with poor light. There was also a good number of Gulls which included BH,Common,LBB and various phases of Herring Gull which I've attempted to sort out.On the way back to the car I got a bonus of a Jay in the hedgerow.
