A foggy morning but had brightened up buy lunch time so I thought I would have a go for the reported Dotterel near Cold Edge Road.Not knowing exactly where to look I was pleased to see a couple of birders looking across the fields from the side of the road.I stopped and joined them and soon I was on the Dotterel, a lifer for me so I was delighted to see the three birds.My thanks go to the finder DJS and the other birders who have put the word out with their reports.
