Saturday 30th March a.m.
A foggy start to the morning meant a later than usual trip to Leeshaw where it was sunny with a temperature of 7°C.On my way I stopped off at Upper Marsh seeing twelve
Golden Plover in their usual field. At Leeshaw there was a good count of thirteen
Oystercatchers, four
Redshank,c50
Lapwings with the usual
Canadas and
Greylags. I was pleased to see a
Grey Wagtail and two
Pied Wagtails, Curlews were calling and one flew over in the distance.
