Redcar Tarn

Monday 18th March a.m.
I paid a quick visit to Redcar Tarn in hope of a site first with a pair of Gadwalls as reported by J.L.
It was still cloudy on arrival with the temperature at 7°C, the usual species were present were then I spotted the Gadwalls for a site first so a worthwhile visit. Also good to see a pair of Oystercatchers on the island, Lapwings nearby,a few Curlews, one dropped in to the next field 25 Tufteds and a singing Dunnock. The visit was rounded off with a singing Skylark which I got a brief look at as it came down.
