Sunday 19th January a.m.
Another frosty night and a cold start to the morning at YeadonTarn where the temperature was -1°C.
There were
Goldfinch in the tops of the trees which had the low sun on them giving them a warm glow. The main lake held ten
Mute Swans, thirty
Tufteds which kept to the unfrozen areas, the male
Shoveler was still here and a
Greylag was with the
Canadas. As I went back to the car two male and a female
Bullfinch had joined the Goldfinch.
