Saturday 11th April a.m.
A cloudy but mild start to the day with a temperature of 13°C as I spent my exercise ration on Harden Moor. Here it was good to see
Willow Warblers back in force with over a dozen seen, a single
Sand Martin had also returned and a
Brambling was hanging on. Four
Oystercatchers were making plenty of noise and five
Repolls were seen.
Others seen during my walk were
Skylark, Curlew, Lapwing, Pied Wagtail, Chiffchaff, Bullfinch, Jay, Kestrel, Song Thrush and other common species.
